Handouts

Handouts And Other Free Resources

All the other things you don’t have time to make up from scratch, so that you can better budget your time toward offering a class to your patrons.

First, some links to great places to get handouts, or at least ideas for handouts:

The Library Instruction Wiki is a place where a lot of libraries post links to the electronic versions of their handouts. If you find one you like, contact the library that made it, and let them know you’d like to use it.

Curriki is one to watch, as well. Also, if you do an Advanced Search at ERIC, you can limit your results to “Guides” of various types. There are a lot of documents in ERIC, you might get lucky and find just the right thing!

I’ll be posting jpg images of some of my other handouts on my flickr account, also.
